A pair of chatelaine brooches, made of silver oxidized brass, in medieval style. Brooches like these two, connected with a chain, were often worn on the chest of her outer dress by a woman during the middle ages.

The diameter of each brooch is 36mm (about 1.4") and the chain is 20cm (about 7.9") long. Each brooch has a simple barpin in back.
